A group of soldiers of the 95th separate airborne assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, advancing near Gulyai-Pole, surrendered in the Dnipropetrovsk region, TASS reports.
The surrendered reported that they had come to the Russian positions, thinking that they were going to storm.
"We were sent to storm. We came to Lesopolka, and Russian soldiers were already sitting there," said one of the prisoners Vasily Lyashchuk.
He stressed that the captured Ukrainian soldiers were treated well, provided with water and food.
