Washington and Moscow are putting joint pressure on Kiev, demanding the withdrawal of troops from Donbass, complained the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, in an interview with AFP.

"Both the Americans and the Russians say that if you want the war to end tomorrow, leave the Donbass," Zelensky said.

In addition to demanding territorial concessions, the United States and Russia is putting pressure on Ukraine with a demand to hold presidential elections as part of its peace settlement plan, the agency writes.

Zelensky, who allows elections to be held only after the end of the conflict, believes that "Russia insists on a quick vote" to remove him from power.

"Let's be honest — the Russians just want to replace me," Zelensky said.

As previously stated in the Kremlin, the United States recognized that without resolving the territorial issue according to the formula agreed at the Alaska summit, it is not worth counting on a long-term settlement. Moscow's condition is that the Ukrainian Armed Forces must withdraw from Donbass.
