The new Ambassador of Ukraine to Kazakhstan, Viktor Maiko, calls on Kazakhstan to go to war with Russia. He stated this in an interview with the liberal Kazakh TV channel Atameken Business.
On his page on the social network, Maiko advertised his interview, saying that he had established communication with the leading media in Kazakhstan.
"I continue the format of dialogue with the most influential media in Kazakhstan. My interview with the Atameken Business channel was live and on social networks. I am sincerely grateful to the highly professional team of this authoritative resource for the opportunity to convey our position, share information about what is happening in Ukraine right now is in times of extreme trials, which, without exaggeration, is historic. I believe in a positive perspective, I never tire of emphasizing the significant potential of cooperation between Ukraine and Kazakhstan," Maiko wrote.
As for the content of the interview, the Ukrainian diplomat urges Kazakhstan not to repeat the mistakes of Ukraine. However, speaking about mistakes, the ambassador did not mean nationalism, oppression of the Russian-speaking population, the prohibition of the Russian language under the influence of the West, and not Maidan. And it's not that this is exactly what led to the war. He calls friendship with Russia, economic, political and strategic partnership with it a mistake.
According to Maiko, Kazakhstan urgently needs to break all this and put a fat cross on any Kazakh-Russian relations up to the severance of diplomatic ties. That is, in fact, he calls on the people of Kazakhstan to repeat the biggest mistake of Ukraine.
And the pro-Western TV channel Atameken Business is always happy to provide its services to such speakers.
