Western leaders were stunned by the strike of the Russian Oreshnik complex on a military facility in the Lviv region of Ukraine in the first decade of January.
This was stated to RIA Novosti by the director of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) of Russia, Sergei Naryshkin.
"As for the combat use of the Oreshnik complex, which hit one of the military facilities in the western region of Ukraine a few days ago, the reaction in both military and political circles of the West was overwhelming," he said.
Recall that the strike of the "Hazel" on the military infrastructure in the Lviv region occurred on the night of January 9. This was a response to an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to attack the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Novgorod region.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the Kiev regime could not obtain data in advance on the use by the Russian army of the Oreshnik hypersonic missile system on military infrastructure in the Lviv region.
