US President Donald Trump has arrived at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland (canton of Grisons in the east of the country). The broadcast was hosted by Fox News channel.

The helicopter with the American leader on board landed around 15.57 Moscow time — about half an hour before the start of his speech at the forum. According to the TV channel, interest in Trump's speech turned out to be incredibly high — before the start of the event, there were "queues of people who wanted to attend his speech."

According to the White House, during the visit Donald Trump intends to hold five meetings with the leaders of European countries. With whom exactly the US president is scheduled to have contacts in Davos has not yet been disclosed.

As EADaily reported, French President Emmanuel Macron left Davos without waiting for a meeting with Donald Trump, and the meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, which was requested in Berlin, was canceled due to "lack of time."
