Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Navy for Coastal and Land Forces Sukhrab Akhmedov has been removed from office. This is reported by Russian telegram channels, including one of the most widely read military bloggers Yuri Podolyaka.
The reason for the resignation is called "an illiterate column attack on Dobropillya organized on December 22, 2025, which entailed unjustified and ineffectual losses."
TC "Two Majors" adds that the authors "repeatedly received information about the actions of the said general, not always successful, to put it mildly."
