The Russian army has changed the tactics of strikes by the Geranium UAV in Zaporozhye. This was stated at a briefing by the head of the Zaporozhye OVA Ivan Fedorov, Ukrinform reports.
According to Fedorov, the Russian Armed Forces have reduced the height of the use of attack drones during attacks on targets in Zaporozhye in order to bypass the Ukrainian air defense system.
"Earlier, the enemy launched "Shaheds" ("Geraniums". — EADaily) and "Lightning" along the Dnieper riverbed. Not today… Where is it launching now? I won't say, we'll find out later. Earlier, the enemy launched "Mines" at an altitude of 3,000-4,000 meters. The last attack, which was in Zaporozhye, was at an altitude of 250 meters. He is definitely constantly looking for gaps in our defense," said the head of the OVA.
As EADaily reported, the Russian Armed Forces began equipping Geranium attack drones with infrared searchlights. This was stated in his telegram channel by a Ukrainian communications expert, a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Serhiy Flash.
