Russian house in Baku has issued a statement in which it denies involvement in holding any rallies.
"The "invitation" distributed in instant messengers is a provocation. We officially declare that the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Azerbaijan has nothing to do with the organization, preparation and holding of any rallies," the Russian House said in a statement on the telegram channel.
The preparation of possible events of this format is a provocation organized and coordinated by persons unrelated to the Russian House in Baku, the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo said.
As EADaily reported, the Azerbaijani authorities demanded to close the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo — Russian house — in Baku, the head of the department Yevgeny Primakov said earlier. According to him, this is due to the lack of legal registration at the representative office. The head of Rossotrudnichestvo noted that the landlord intends to sell the property in the near future. The Russian house in Azerbaijan must vacate the rented premises within one and a half months in connection with the landlord's statement about plans to sell it.
