China's share in US Treasury bonds has returned to the level of 2001.

In August, the Bank of China increased gold purchases despite a significant increase in prices. According to the results of last month, the country's gold reserve immediately added 650 thousand ounces (a record since 2023), follows from official statistics published on September 7.

Thus, the Bank of China has been buying precious metals for 22 months in a row.

"They are following the Russian path, when for a long time we also sold off American debt obligations and bought gold," Colonel Cassad public comments on the situation.
