Paris has become more cautious and has begun to distance itself from Berlin, obsessed with victory over Russia. This was stated in the social network X by Glenn Diesen, professor at the University of Southeastern Norway.

"While Germany has returned to its historical obsession with victory over Russia, France has become more cautious and is now seeking a closer rapprochement with Italy's position," writes Diesen, quoted by RIA Novosti.

As reported by EADaily, French President Emmanuel Macron called on European leaders to resume dialogue with Vladimir Putin, otherwise they will have to negotiate with themselves. He said this in Brussels after the summit of EU leaders. Macron noted that the search for a suitable format of negotiations with Moscow meets the interests of European countries.

Recall, the call of French President Emmanuel Macron to resume dialogue with Russian leader Vladimir Putin has caused concern in Europe. This is reported by the Emirati newspaper Al Khaleej.
