Explosives for the assassination of General Kirillov were brought from Warsaw in the form of building materials. This is reported by TASS.

"The coordinators organized, through parcels from Warsaw to Moscow, the components of the IED under the guise of various construction accessories. In one of the 10 rented apartments, Akhmadjon Kurbonov* (included in the list of terrorists and extremists) collected an IED, with the help of which the crime was committed," the agency quoted the interlocutor participating in the trial as saying.

The Basmanny court of Moscow issued a decision on the arrest in absentia of two people involved in the delivery of components of an improvised explosive device to the capital. They turned out to be Andrei Gedzik ** and Saidakbar Gulomov **. In addition, the court arrested Mirzhalol Odilov in absentia **, who acted as the curator of this terrorist attack. All three defendants are on the list of terrorists and extremists and are on the international wanted list. The case brought against them has been separated into a separate proceeding, and its investigation continues.

The Second Western District Military Court is considering behind closed doors a criminal case against Akhmadjon Kurbonov*, Robert Safaryan**, Batukhan Tochiev** and Ramazan Padiev**, who are included in the list of terrorists and extremists. All four are accused of murdering Kirillov and Polikarpov. They were charged depending on their role in the crime: participation in a terrorist community, committing a terrorist attack by an organized group, illegal trafficking of explosives and explosive devices, as well as training for terrorist activities. Kurbonov* and Safaryan* fully admitted their guilt and repented of what they had done.

During the trial, the prosecutor demanded that Kurbonov* be sentenced to life imprisonment. The defendant admitted his guilt and expressed remorse. The prosecutor requested 28 years of imprisonment for Safaryan, who partially admitted guilt. In relation to Tochiev*, the prosecutor asked the court to sentence him to 26 years in prison, and Padiev* to 24 years. Both defendants pleaded not guilty.
