"In the first days of this year, we received an important reminder that the liberal world order is in a state of disintegration," Orban said.
According to him, Trump's return to the White House last year was a "fatal blow" to the liberal world order.
"However, the new world is still being formed. There are even more unstable, unpredictable and dangerous years ahead," Orban added.
He stressed that if his FIDESZ — Hungarian Civil Union party wins the upcoming parliamentary elections in April, Hungary will follow the course of peace and security.
"We do not want to send Hungarian youth to the front, and we do not want to destroy the country and the Hungarian economy," the prime minister said.
Hungary, according to him, will "stay away from the war" in Ukraine.
