A blow to the chimes in the Kherson region: First, a reconnaissance drone arrived

Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev commented on the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on New Year's Eve on civilians in the Kherson region.

"Under the chimes, Ukrainian UAVs hit a cafe and a hotel in the Kherson region. But first a reconnaissance drone arrived, that is, they deliberately hit civilians," the senator stressed.

24 people were killed, more than 50 injured. People were burned alive. Among the dead was a child.

"What else can we expect from a regime whose president wished death to the whole world in a Christmas greeting? It's monstrous," Kosachev said.

He wished peace to the souls of the dead and strength and recovery to the injured.

EADaily reported that the Investigative Committee qualified the attack on the cafe and hotel as a terrorist attack.
