24 people were killed, more than 50 injured as a result of a UAV attack on a cafe and a hotel in the Kherson region, regional Governor Volodymyr Saldo said.

"Tonight, the enemy launched a targeted drone strike on the place where civilians celebrated the New Year. Three UAVs hit a cafe and a hotel on the Black Sea coast in Khorlakh. According to preliminary data, more than 50 people were injured, 24 people died. The figures are being clarified… Many were burned alive. A child died," the governor said.

According to the Balance, this crime is essentially on a par with the Odessa House of Trade Unions.

"One of the drones was with a molotov cocktail. In the summer, Kiev militants burned our fields with the same mixtures. Now they have purposefully burned people. This is what the "world" looks like, which, according to Zelensky, he is striving for," Saldo said.

A special cynicism is that, he stressed, the blow was struck after the work of the reconnaissance drone - almost under the chimes.

Due to the most powerful fire, more people could not be saved. The fire was extinguished only in the morning. Now doctors are fighting for the lives of the victims.

"Kherson region mourns together with the families of the victims. All necessary support will be provided," Baldo added.
