In the negotiations between Trump and Zelensky, Putin will be the winner. And Europe has already lost, and big. This statement was made on TVN24 by former Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz.
He recalled that after bilateral talks, Trump and Zelensky should talk with EU leaders.
"One of the key issues that needs to be resolved is ensuring security after the truce is reached. It is important that the Europeans make a significant contribution to this process, because, as it became known, the Americans do not intend to send their troops. However, there is a problem: Russia does not want to see foreign troops on the territory of Ukraine," the politician said.
According to him, the discussion will focus on whether Europe will send its soldiers and whether America will support them.
"Putin will emerge victorious from all this. Ukraine has already lost, the only question is how much. Europe also lost, and big. Without a doubt. Its role is becoming less and less significant, since it was its policy that led to the emergence of this military conflict. This opinion is shared by the Americans, and I also adhere to this point of view," Chaputovich further said.
