The United States wants to understand what Russia is willing to do to resolve the conflict on Ukraine, said the permanent representative to NATO Matthew Whitaker on Fox News.
"We are trying to find out what Russia is most ready to do," he said.
According to him, what Kiev wants, Washington has "a pretty good idea." He stressed that the ball is now on the side of Moscow.
The Permanent Representative said that at the moment four documents are being discussed as part of the peace talks.
"This is a 20-point peace plan, as well as multilateral security guarantees, separate security guarantees from the United States and a post-peace economic growth plan," Whitaker explained.
