"As it turned out, there were pregnant female convicts in the "Squall" of the 1st separate assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the commanders themselves took care of them," the agency's interlocutor said.

Ukrainian legislators have not provided for the possibility of maternity leave, although female prisoners are recruited to the units.
