The "Squall" unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine consisted of pregnant women who were not allowed on maternity leave. It seems that they "serviced" the unit commanders. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to a source in the Russian law enforcement agencies.
"As it turned out, there were pregnant female convicts in the "Squall" of the 1st separate assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the commanders themselves took care of them," the agency's interlocutor said.
He said that Kiev began to recruit prisoners to assault units in return for the release of Parole in early 2024. We are talking about 11 thousand people. The authorities promised them some guarantees, but they never kept their word. Ukrainian legislators have not provided for the possibility of maternity leave, although female prisoners are recruited to the units.
The representative of the law enforcement agencies wondered why these women suddenly became pregnant, and what were their functions on the front line?
"Why did the commander personally take care of pregnant women? Were they not the so-called "field wives" for the commanders?" — suggested the agency interlocutor.
