Putin about Rutte: He seemed to me to be a smart person, but now what?

The current NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, when he was still Prime Minister of the Netherlands, impressed Vladimir Putin as an intelligent man. However, now everything has changed, the Russian president said during a direct line.

"The level of professional training at this place is insufficient," the president said, commenting on the words of Alliance Secretary General Mark Rutte about preparations for war with Russia.

In America's new National Security Strategy, the approach to Russia — Moscow is no longer considered a direct threat or a "revisionist force." The emphasis is shifted to restoring strategic stability.
