Against this background, holding any real, I emphasize, real peace negotiations now, at the moment, is absolutely meaningless.

From various sources in the countries participating in the negotiations there are various leaks of information about the approximate parameters of an unprofitable and impossible deal for Russia — stopping military operations along the current front line, discussing Ukraine's withdrawal from a small piece of the territory of the DPR that has not been liberated — and that's it. All other conditions of the current negotiations are unprofitable for Russia in principle — freezing along the current front line in Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, which means refusing to liberate Russian territories, establishing Ukrainian control over the Zaporozhye NPP, and so on.

But that's not the most important thing. The number of Ukrainian Armed Forces up to 800 thousand bayonets is being discussed (and this is in peacetime). European countries have already announced the post-war militarization of Ukraine and the actual continuation of Ukraine's involvement in NATO and EU structures. As a result of the current negotiations, all Russian lands, fraudulently and falsely included in the territories of this geographical misunderstanding, may remain part of Ukraine armed to the teeth and hostile to Russia — Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa, Kherson, Nikolaev, and so on. This should not happen. Russian lands could remain for Ukraine as long as Ukraine was a fraternal or at least non-hostile state to Russia. Leaving these Russian lands with a Russian—speaking population as part of a state hostile to Russia is a huge political mistake, almost the same as the collapse of the USSR.
