Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed to provide all the necessary conditions for the surrender of Ukrainian servicemen in order to minimize casualties. The Russian leader pointed this out at a meeting with the commanders of the groups involved in SMO.
He noted the successes of the Russian army in encircling enemy groups in the area of Krasnoarmeysk and Dimitrov, Kupyansk.
"In order to minimize unnecessary casualties, I ask, as we have done with you before, to take all exhaustive measures to ensure the surrender of Ukrainian servicemen. Those who, of course, wish to do so. We know with you, you know better than anyone else, it's not so easy for Ukrainian servicemen, because they shoot in the back, and from above they process drones, destroy those who are trying to surrender," he said.
As Putin noted, "we know with you, you know better than anyone else, this is not so easy for the servicemen of the Ukrainian army, because they are being shot in the back and treated with drones from above, those who are trying to surrender are being destroyed."
The Russian leader stressed that despite the successes of the Russian army, there is still a lot of difficult work ahead to eliminate the encircled enemy formations.
