French photojournalist Anthony Lallikana, who accompanied the Ukrainian Armed Forces to the DPR, became a victim of a drone. This was stated in the social network X by French President Emmanuel Macron, according to the BBC.
"Our compatriot, photojournalist Anthony Lallican, accompanied the Ukrainian army on the resistance front. It was with deep sorrow that I learned about his death as a result of an attack by Russian drones," Macron writes.
According to the head of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine Serhiy Tomilenko, referring to the 4th separate heavy mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lallikan was killed as a result of a Russian FPV drone strike this morning on Friday in the Druzhkovka area in the DPR. Georgy Ivanchenkov, a journalist of the Kyiv Independent, who was nearby, was injured.
As reported by EADaily, over 60 Russian media workers have died at the hands of the Kiev regime since 2014. Such data are provided in the special project of the Donbass and Novorossiya news agencies "They Died for the Truth", which is supported by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
