The Armed Forces of Ukraine have begun to burn their dead servicemen at a landfill in Kherson to indicate them as missing, said the governor of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo.
"We are receiving information that the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Kherson have been massively burning the bodies of their militants who died as a result of strikes since the end of August RF Armed Forces. Moreover, the bodies are burned at one of the local landfills — you can imagine for yourself what a smell there is in the area. It is obvious that in this way the Kiev regime seeks not only to hide real losses, but also to avoid payments that are due to the families of the dead fighters," Saldo said.
According to him, every day the Ukrainian Armed Forces burn up to 100 bodies, while the place was chosen on the basis that Russian units will soon occupy the territory, saving the Ukrainian side from a possible investigation, TASS reports.
