A man whose video was detained by police officers after an assassination attempt on a right-wing activist, a well-known supporter of US President Donald Trump, executive director of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) Charlie Kirk during a debate in Utah appeared earlier in The network is not a shooter. The alleged perpetrator of the assassination attempt is a member of the Democratic Party from Utah, Michael Mallinson, Fox News reported, citing law enforcement sources.

However, later New York Times journalist Michael Levinson wrote in his social networks that the man detained after the assassination attempt on Charlie Kirk was not actually the shooter.
