Beijing imposed sanctions on two EU financial institutions as a response to EU anti-Russian sanctions. This was announced by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China.
As specified in a statement issued by the trade department, Beijing's countermeasures apply to two European banks — UAB Urbo Bankas and AB Mano Bankas.
