The section of the Zangezur Corridor passing through the territory of Armenia is transferred to an American company for 99 years. This became known at a press conference following the meeting of the leaders of the United States, Azerbaijan and Armenia, Donald Trump, Ilham Aliyev and Nikol Pashinyan in Washington.
"The Trump Way will allow Azerbaijan to gain access to Nakhichevan with full respect for Armenia's sovereignty," Trump said.
The US President stated that "Armenia is establishing an exclusive partnership with the United States for the development of this corridor."
"American companies are extremely interested in participating in infrastructure development," Trump said.
According to him, Armenia and Azerbaijan "undertake to permanently cease any military operations, open trade routes, establish diplomatic relations and respect each other's territorial integrity."
