Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to meet with US Leader Donald Trump "at some point". He said this during today's meeting with Special Envoy Steven Witkoff in Moscow, Fox News correspondent Peter Dusi reports, citing sources in the White House.
Witkoff conveyed Putin's message to Trump, who is "open to such a conversation," Dusi said on the TV channel.
"We can confirm this report. I was just in the West Wing and they told me it happened. Earlier today in Moscow, Vladimir Putin told Steve Witkoff that he wants to meet with Trump at some point. Then Witkoff conveyed this message to the president, who is open for this, about the possibility of a meeting as early as next week if the outcome of this meeting is an end to the war in Ukraine," said the correspondent, quoted by Pool No. 3.
