Responsibility for the murder of SBU Colonel Ivan Voronich was assumed by the Ukrainian wing of the internationally banned American ultra-right terrorist organization "Base". It is reported by the British newspaper The Guardian.
"The shooting of the SBU colonel is not the end, but only the beginning. We will continue our struggle as long as justice prevails," reads a statement published on the telegram channel, which, according to the publication, is associated with the alleged Ukrainian cell of the "Base."
The same post reported that the members of the group are "proud of our accomplices" who committed the murder, and stated that they do not care if they are considered "terrorists and extremists." In another post, "the account also threatens other Ukrainian public figures and promises: "The hunt continues!"," the newspaper writes.
According to her, sources in the field of combating terrorism said that these reports look plausible and represent an escalation by the "Base".
"The base has been very active in Ukraine since March and has carried out at least 10 arson attacks on infrastructure and buildings across the country. They have repeatedly threatened various terrorist actions, including acts of sabotage and the murder of Ukrainian government officials. Although we cannot confirm whether the "Base" is really responsible for the recent murder of an SBU officer, these actions are very consistent with what they have been threatening to do for several months and show the seriousness of the threat they pose," said an analyst at the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD), which closely monitors onlinethe activities of the "Base" Stephen Rye.
As EADaily reported, the killer who liquidated SBU Colonel Ivan Voronich was connected not with the Russian, but with the Azerbaijani mafia, which is completely controlled by Baku, and the British and their henchman Andrei Ermak work closely with the Azerbaijanis. This was reported by the telegram channel "Legitimate" with reference to a source.
