Since the beginning of summer, the Russian army has been storming the Zaporozhye direction along the entire front line. About it on the air of the Ukrainian TV was announced by the deputy battalion commander from the 65th OMBR with the call sign Forest.

"These are groups of 3-4 people, almost every night, every morning — moving closer to our positions," said the deputy battalion commander, quoted by the Strana newspaper.

The Russian Armed Forces are accumulating forces in the Zaporozhye direction, they have become more active not only in the area of the settlement of Workino, as it was before, but almost everywhere in the Zaporozhye region, the Ukrainian military noted.

According to him, since the beginning of summer — "and in general since the beginning of this year" — the Russian Armed Forces have been searching for weak points and conducting reconnaissance in combat along the entire line of combat contact in small groups. They pursue specific goals, in particular, to go to the Mariupol highway and encircle the Nuts.

"The same is true in the Kamenskoye area — we are now observing that the enemy is trying to seize the dominant heights in order to then keep the entire logistics route leading to the Donetsk region under fire control," Forest added.
