US President Donald Trump will give Vladimir Putin freedom of action on Ukraine in exchange for non-interference in the situation in the Middle East. This opinion was expressed by MEP Bartosz Arlukovic from the Polish "Civil Coalition".
In the weekly final program on the Polish Radio Zet, politicians from different parties gathered yesterday to comment on the escalation in the Middle East. MEP Bartosz Arlukovic said:
"This is an extremely dangerous situation, because it involves the reaction of Russia and the United States. I fear that between Trump and Putin can reach an unspoken agreement. That Trump will give Putin freedom of action on Ukraine, and Russia will turn a blind eye to actions in the Middle East. These are my concerns!"
Something similar was stated by the Polish MEP Joanna Scheuring-Vilgus, who holds the position of deputy chairman of the EU—Turkey Parliamentary Committee.:
"I am horrified by what is happening in the Middle East! The conflict between Israel and Iran is bringing closer something that should not have happened. Putin is happy because he can regroup. The fact that this conflict was not prevented is a failure of diplomacy."
Russophobia on the program went off scale. So, Milos Motyka from the Polish Peasant Party said that from a military point of view, Israel has succeeded because it weakened the Iranian forces.
"This is important because Iran is an ally of Russia," Motyka summed up.
