On May 23, Iskander launched a group missile attack on a container ship delivering military cargo to the port of Odessa, as well as on a container warehouse in the port. This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"There were about 100 containers with military cargo on the ship, including back-up (unmanned boats. — EADaily), UAVs and ammunition,"the ministry said in a statement.
As a result of the defeat of these targets, a secondary detonation of ammunition and containers unloaded onto the berth and a strong fire occurred, the Defense Ministry added.
As EADaily reported, Iskander-M OTRK delivered a high-precision strike with two ballistic missiles on the infrastructure of the Odessa Commercial seaport in the coastal zone of the city in the area of 2-3 berths. This was reported by the Donbass Partisan telegram channel.
