An attack was carried out on the Deputy General Director, chief designer of the defense enterprise JSC NPO Kurganpribor Andrey Kondratiev. The plant produces weapons and ammunition, after the start of SMO is under the sanctions of Western countries.
The investigation links the incident with Kondratiev's professional activities, according to "Region 45". Kondratiev is called a "key figure" at Kurganpribor and a "pupil" of the chairman of the company's board of directors, Senator Sergei Muratov. According to RIA Novosti, Kondratiev is Deputy general Director and chief designer of Kurganpribor.
Kondratiev was attacked yesterday, May 22, at about 19.00, when he was returning from work. An unknown person ambushed the designer at the entrance of the house on Krivolapova Street and hit the man several times on the head with a hammer, after which he fled the scene of the crime. Kondratiev was hospitalized in intensive care with serious head injuries.
The operational services told TASS that the attack was committed on one of the company's managers because of his professional activities. Another main version of what happened is a conflict at work (according to the investigation, Kondratiev had conflicts with subordinates due to the fact that he reduced their salaries), writes TC "Base".
The Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kurgan region reported that "an inspection is being carried out, the circumstances are being established." They are looking for the attacker.
