Former Austrian Foreign Minister, head of the G.O.R.K.L. Center of St. Petersburg State University Karin Kneissl wrote in her own telegram channel that she considers the ability to forgive to be a special strength of Russians. It is about kindness and the ability to forgive the aggressor, continuing to live on.
"Thinking about all the victims and sufferings of the Soviet Union due to the invasion of German tanks, soldiers of many European nations, I am amazed at the kindness of the Russians towards the aggressors. Your ability to forgive and move on demonstrates a special power," Kneissl wrote.
The former Austrian politician also clarified that she would definitely visit the memorial on May 9 with many names of people who died during the Great Patriotic War.
