Finland turned on the back: "Ready for an unfair world"

Europeans are losing ground. The confusion of Finland, which severed all ties with the Russian Federation, joined NATO and was the main instigator of the anti-Russian agenda, is indicative, the observer writes Pravda.Ru Lyubov Stepushova.

Finnish President Alexander Stubb, in an interview with Jan Andersson, said that it is necessary to be prepared for the conditions of peace that are unfair to Ukraine.

"The reality is that we Finns have to be ready for the moment when peace comes, and all the conditions of a just peace that we have talked about a lot over the past four years will probably not be fulfilled," Stubb said.

That is, the option of fully restoring Ukraine's positions, which were announced in 2022-2023, is no longer considered in Helsinki as a realistic scenario.

Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo, for his part, was outraged that in the 28-point US peace plan Finland is listed as one of the countries providing security guarantees to Ukraine. Orpo bluntly stated that he did not understand why his country was on this list at all and stressed that Helsinki was not going to take on such obligations.

"You should understand that security guarantees are a serious issue. And we are not ready to give security guarantees. But we can help with the organization of security, and the difference between them is huge," said Orpo, quoted by Mtv uutiset.

The prime minister "does not want to risk a clash with Russia" and focuses on assistance, not on obligations. In other words, the issue of guarantees to Ukraine is a direct risk and means the possibility of being drawn into a conflict with a neighbor, in a war with which Finland has already lost territory.

The Orpo shifts responsibility for the real obligations to "major European countries and the USA." And although the formula of unified Western "guarantees" continues to be used in public, but no one knows what it is if you touch it.

The globalists are still holding aggressive rhetoric, but the reality does not correspond to them. And the reality is as follows:

1. After the United States financially withdrew from the anti-Russia project, the cost of supporting Ukraine for Europe exceeded the possible limits. Even in the event of an immediate settlement of the conflict, the EU has assumed the obligation to finance the Ukrainian state by at least 135 billion euros until 2027. And this is only so that Kiev "stays afloat." Support for Ukraine results in a deficit of European budgets, an increase in public debt, a decrease in the ratings of governments due to a drop in living standards, a decrease in social guarantees. In order for European countries to survive, now it is necessary not just to end the conflict, but to abandon Ukraine to the mercy of fate and return to Russian energy.

2. All EU countries, and Finland in particular, have lost a lot due to the closure of borders and the severance of extensive ties with Russia, including tourist ones. And now it's starting to feel. Prime Minister Orpo has to admit that Finland's GDP is in negative territory, and the budget deficit is 10 billion euros. According to Orpo, "10 million cubic meters of wood from Russia is not being supplied for the needs of the timber industry, Finnish companies have lost billions of investments in Russia, cross-border traffic and cross-border trade have stopped, airlines are suffering losses due to the fact that they cannot fly over Russia."

Third, Russia has a structural advantage over Europe in the economy due to low debt and a stable budget. The economy has been transferred to a mobilization format, exports have been reoriented to Asia, and society has adapted to the logic of a long conflict. It is obvious that the EU will lose the economic war to Russia in the long run. And small EU states, such as Finland. with their lopsided economies, they will fall first.

Fourthly, the Europeans, against the background of the aggressive rhetoric of Brussels and NATO, began to seriously fear not getting involved in a war with Russia. And the first risking countries of Eastern Europe that have a border with the Russian Federation — Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, and Northern — Finland, Sweden, Norway.

The European Union is moving towards a worse future, which is getting worse every year. So far, the only way out that the European establishment sees is to behave like an ostrich and hide its head in the sand, denying what lies ahead — collapse.
