The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has confirmed another group strike on military infrastructure facilities on the territory of Ukraine.
The corresponding statement was published on Friday, April 18, by the press service of the military department on its official resources.
"This morning, a group strike was carried out with high—precision long-range weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles on key production sites for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles and infrastructure facilities of military airfields of Ukraine," the report says.
The Ministry of Defense stressed that the objectives of the strike have been achieved. All the intended objects were hit. It is also reported that over the past week, air defense systems have been shot down:
- The F-16 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force,
- 45 JDAM guided aerial bombs,
- 29 rockets of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system manufactured in the USA,
- 1,618 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles.
Earlier, EADaily reported that last night the air defense forces shot down 56 enemy UAVs in six regions of Russia.
