Military political analyst Andrei Klintsevich explained why the United States cannot force the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, to negotiate with Russia. In his opinion, "the Americans have no leverage left on him."
"I do not rule out that they may follow a tough scenario: conduct an investigation, 'publicize' that Zelensky is a corrupt official, that they stole, including American aid, impose secondary sanctions against him, and make it so that he can only move between Paris, London and Kiev," he said. Klintsevich said on Sputnik radio.
However, according to him, Americans "may not go for it from the point of view of image history."
"The Europeans and the British will not let the Americans get into the ports, into the generation, into everything that brings money now. That is, to return these 200 or 300 billion to the Americans ... the Europeans say: "We will not return any money. We will earn money together, they will not give you new aid packages, so we do whatever we want, delay negotiations and so on," Klintsevich said.
