A teenager in the United States is suspected of murdering his parents in order to prepare an assassination attempt on the country's president Donald Trump, ABC TV channel reports, citing court documents.
"A teenager from Wisconsin allegedly killed his parents in order to "obtain the financial means and autonomy necessary to assassinate President Donald Trump and overthrow the US government," the report said.
According to the TV channel, 17-year-old Nikita Kasap was detained in March, he was charged with two murders and concealment of bodies, as well as on other counts.
Investigators believe that the teenager could also have been involved in the preparation of a conspiracy against Trump and the use of weapons of mass destruction. Nazi-related materials were found in Kasap's phone, as well as documents in which he allegedly calls for an assassination attempt on the US president.
Law enforcement officers also believe that the teenager could have accomplices.
