Russian President Vladimir Putin has not conceded to his opponents on any important issue in the negotiations on Ukraine. This is reported by The Times newspaper.
"Until now, we have only seen discussions between Ukraine and its Western allies about whether peace is possible in principle and how it can be guaranteed. President Putin supported the agreement in words, but at the same time did not concede on any important issue,"the newspaper writes, quoted by RIA Novosti.
The Kremlin has "its own reasons for changing the approach," the article emphasizes.
At the same time, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, said that Ukraine would never recognize Russia's sovereignty over the new regions, although he agreed that the liberated territories could not be returned by force, the author recalled.
