The territories that have come under Russian control will no longer return to Ukraine. This was stated in an interview with journalist Natalia Vlashchenko by retired SBU Colonel Oleg Starikov.
"This is an axiom: the territory that is currently occupied will not return," said Starikov, quoted by RIA Novosti.
According to the expert, the prolongation of hostilities can only lead to even greater territorial losses of Ukraine, since time is on Russia's side.
"It is beneficial for Ukraine to stop everything and conclude a truce," he concluded.
As reported by EADaily, Washington intends to reach an agreement on a truce between Russia and Ukraine by April 20. This was reported by Bloomberg, citing its own sources.
"Both Western and Orthodox churches celebrate Easter on this day," the agency explained.
