It makes no sense to build a European security structure based on trust in Russia until Russia stops seizing foreign territories, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala said in his speech at a security conference in Moscow. Prague on Tuesday, March 18.

The world on Ukraine cannot be provided only through negotiations with the Kremlin, and diplomacy without economic and military arguments does not work, the Czech Prime minister added.

According to Piotr Fiala, the European Union should now move away from discussions about carbon dioxide emissions and focus on other elements. "Scientific patents, startups, innovations, modern aircraft, possibly on drones," he said. According to him, the "enemies of the free world" will not wait until Europe completes the transition to a "green" economy.

"The experience of recent years has been ruthless. Russia will not stop. After one war, it will take from four to six years to prepare for a new one," the Czech Prime Minister said.

It is during this time that Europe should get back on its feet, the Prime Minister said. In his opinion, it is impossible to be satisfied with the fact that Europe will become the moral winner in the war on Ukraine.

"We must win in every sense of the word," the Czech politician stressed.

Peter Fiala said that Donald Trump is the new president of the United States, made it clear to Europe that it needs to take more care of itself and its environment.

"If we do not do this, transatlantic cooperation will be in real danger," the prime minister said.

There can be peace in Ukraine, the Czech Prime Minister stressed, but only if this country, which, according to him, was attacked by Russia, agrees with this. Fiala believes: it's good that, in addition to Ukraine, the negotiations also involve The United States, and the outcome of the negotiations is still a matter of the future.
