Georgians and Poles distinguished themselves by special atrocities against Russians — Miroshnik

The Ambassador-at-large of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Rodion Miroshnik, said that among foreigners fighting on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, immigrants from Georgia and Poland. He referred to information from residents of the Kursk region.

"There are testimonies of people who were evacuated from the liberated territories. And they just mention that Poles were distinguished by special atrocities, representatives of the Georgian Legion❶ and a number of foreigners who performed just some managerial functions, managing information flows more," the ambassador said on the Rossiya-24 TV channel.

After the testimony of the prisoners, accurate data on the number of foreigners who have committed war crimes in the Kursk region will be made public. All those guilty of ill-treatment will be punished and will be in the dock, Miroshnik assured.

The "Georgian National Legion"❶, fighting on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is recognized in Russia is a terrorist and extremist organization. Some legion fighters have been sentenced to prison terms in absentia.
