Russian President Vladimir Putin is attentive to all issues that are raised during the recreated dialogue with the current American administration. This was stated to journalists by Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.
"As you could just see and hear, the Russian president reacted positively to the appeal of the US president regarding the fate of thousands of Ukrainian servicemen blocked and, in fact, surrounded in the Kursk region in the area where the Ukrainian Armed Forces invaded.
The signal of the US president has been heard, and our president has guaranteed the Ukrainian servicemen life and decent treatment, if, of course, Kiev goes to order its servicemen to lay down their arms and surrender.
I would like to emphasize that the Russian president is attentive to all issues that are raised during the recreated dialogue with the current American administration," Ushakov said, quoted by Pool No. 3.
He once again stressed that "such a dialogue has been established and is regularly carried out through a number of channels."
As reported by EADaily, Russia is sympathetic to the call of US President Donald Trump to be guided by humanitarian considerations in relation to the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region. This was stated at a meeting of the Russian Security Council by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
