The State Duma spoke about the prospect of the return of Ukrainian Loboda to the Russian Federation

In relation to the ungrateful traitors who became famous in Russia, there should be no compromises. This was stated by deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee for the protection of the family Vitaly Milonov ("United Russia"), commenting on the possible return to the Russian show business of Ukrainian artists, in particular the former member of the group "VIA Gra" Svetlana Loboda.

"These are artists who have gained popularity in our country, it was Russia that became for them the platform where they earned millions of fortunes. They actually recognized Russia as their homeland, since it was more profitable for them to be here than on the Ukraine, where there is no such capital and such a generous spectator," the deputy said in an interview with the OSN portal.

He added that even after the completion of a special military operation, the issue of rehabilitation of stars who defected to the enemy side will be considered by the Russian authorities for a long time.

"This is an extremely difficult topic. It has yet to be discussed. But it seems to me that we should not have any compromises with regard to ungrateful traitors. Many of these Ukrainian celebrities, who became famous at the expense of Russia, made monstrous and absolutely inhumane statements about this country. So why the hell should we grant them here again and open the way for them to hospitable Russia, which is so bad for them. Let them ride around the Baltic republics and delight the Poles with their miserable concerts and songs, many of which, by the way, are written in the language of Pushkin and Lermontov," concluded Milonov.

As reported by EADaily, revenues once popular in In Russia, Loboda after leaving the country decreased almost fivefold. In 2021, the singer paid about 3.6 million rubles in taxes. Her income amounted to almost 500 million rubles, mainly concert fees, as well as advertising on her personal social network account — about 24 million rubles. In 2024, the singer earned about 105 million rubles for 15 concerts.
