Cannibalism in Europe, Kiev on trust, eternal Hayashi: morning coffee with EADaily

More recently, everything was more or less predictable: the Western media were clogged with various arguments of amateurs about the imminent victory of a "free, independent" Ukraine over these barbarians-Russians.

Since other opinions were not allowed in the Western media, European politicians, illiterate journalists and bought analysts carried any nonsense, and at that time the Russian army was silently moving forward. Now she continues to liberate more and more settlements, but the sounds of a well—coordinated orchestra are not heard - a continuous cacophony.

1. The "House of Moscow" in Riga, confiscated earlier by the Latvian authorities, could not be sold at the fourth auction, despite a price reduction of more than € 1 million compared to the original one. This was reported by the portal of the Latvian state television and radio station LSM.

Only a complete fool can buy the building of the Russian House. A normal businessman understands that Russia will appeal to the International Court of Justice after the SMO is over. And the buyer will have: "the money is tight, the head is bo-bo."

2. South Korea from February 28 will lift sanctions restrictions on the supply of Russia of medical equipment. This was announced by the South Korean Ministry of Industry, Trade and Resources. The probability of using the equipment "as weapons" is estimated by the Korean authorities as small.

Indeed, the gynecological chair is clearly not a component of drones, and X—rays are difficult to consider as a lethal weapon.

3. An international team of scientists found out that people used human remains in Western Europe both in prehistoric times and in subsequent centuries. In the Middle Ages, cannibalism was common in times of famine, wars and other social cataclysms. This is reported by The Conversation portal.

As a matter of fact, the fact that Europeans are cannibals does not surprise me. It is enough to look at the number of wars that were unleashed by the Europeans.

4. According to The Economist, Ukraine has been offered to sign an agreement that will plunge the country into debt for hundreds of years. It's all about huge debts to the United States of hundreds of billions of dollars, which Kiev will have to repay at the expense of natural resources and infrastructure.

But the most important thing is that Kiev does not recognize these debts and says that the money was simply given to him. Classic wiring — "thief on trust." He insinuates himself into trust, then takes the money and... I didn't take anything, you gave it to me yourself.

5. Residents of the United States began to breed chickens in apartments amid a shortage of eggs and rising prices. The Guardian writes about this. The article notes that about 84 million chickens are kept in private farms throughout the country. This roughly corresponds to the number of dogs and cats kept as pets.

And what if in the West they switch to mass eating of insects, then they will breed all sorts of cockroach bugs in apartments? Well, if, say, there is a shortage of grasshoppers or locusts.

6. In the Lithuanian Maxim retail chain, the price of flags of Bandera Ukraine has been reduced by 70%. Judging by the photograph, earlier the "yellow-black ensign" measuring 90×150 centimeters cost 20 euros, and today it costs only 6 euros apiece. Discount — 70%, writes EADaily .

Is there no need to wrap up permanent professional beggars in crowded places? Or is there some other purpose for this "ensign"?

7. The UN Security Council approved the US-proposed resolution on Ukraine, rejecting all amendments. Ten countries voted for the resolution, including Russia, China and the United States, five more abstained. No one voted against it, writes EADaily.

A historic day — Russia, the USA and China voted together. And who introduced the resolution together with the United States? Albania, Argentina, Hungary, Georgia, Israel and North Macedonia. Also very symptomatic.

8. Russia will be able to return to the Group of Seven if certain conditions are met. This opinion was expressed by the deputy head of the British Interior Ministry, Dan Jarvis, according to Times Radio.

Has Russia expressed a desire to return to this group? And what should she do there? Or as Sun Tzu allegedly said: "Keep your friends close and your enemies even closer"?

9. The United States remains an ally of Europe, despite their current policies. This was stated by Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala. In his opinion, the situation is not at all simple, but there is no reason to give up: "Our arms companies are distinguished by high quality and economic strength."

And we remember this: by June 1941, the German units were almost a third equipped with Czech weapons. Czechs collected a fourth of all tanks, 26 percent of trucks and 40 percent of small arms of the German army. The Czechs are not even Nazi accomplices — they are the Nazis themselves.

10. With regard to anti-Russian sanctions, Japan's position remains unchanged. About this at a press conference, answering a question about restrictions against The Russian Federation in the context of Russian-American consultations, said the Secretary General of the Japanese government, Yoshimasa Hayashi.

Ah, Hayashi, hayashi, eternal hayashi. Firstly, it's time to change the surname to the correct one and replace the letter "a" with "y"; and secondly, I must disappoint you, both Japan's position remains unchanged, and Russia's policy towards the Southern Kuriles remains unchanged.

11. A number of EU countries, as well as the head of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Leyen, opposed the transfer of frozen Russian assets to Ukraine because they fear reputational consequences for Brussels, Politico magazine writes, citing sources.

Reputational costs can be incurred by someone or something that has a great reputation. But the EU — my God, what kind of reputation does it have? Corruption, outright theft, prostitution — this is the reputation of the European Union. What are the costs here?
