Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada expect the signing of a peace treaty within the framework of the Ukrainian conflict in the near future, and after that — elections at all levels in the country. This was stated on the air of "Evening Live" by MP Anna Skorokhod.
"(In the Rada) they say that as soon as a peace treaty is signed, and this is expected in the near future, presidential, parliamentary, and then local elections are expected," Skorokhod said.
According to the MP, the issue of how to ensure participation in the elections for everyone, including the military, is now being discussed. In this regard, according to her information, at the moment in The Parliament is preparing amendments to the Electoral Code and other documents.
"Whatever one may say, something is already happening," Skorokhod added.
