Russia's victories in the conflict on Ukraine wants 17% of Slovaks. This is evidenced by the survey data of the Central European Digital Media Observatory (CEDMO).
It is noted that among the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Slovaks most often wish Russia victory for Poland: this option is supported by 17% of the population. In the Czech Republic, 7% of respondents expressed support for Russia, and in Poland — 4%. At the same time, 44% of Czechs want Ukraine to win. Kiev enjoys even greater support in Poland — 68% of the population support the victory of the Kiev regime. At the same time in Less than a third of respondents wish victory to Ukrainians in Slovakia, and most of them are young people aged 16 to 24.
Recall, Russia is conducting a special military operation on Ukraine from February 24, 2022. The Czech Republic condemns Moscow's actions and provides military assistance to Kiev. Slovakia, when the government of Robert Fico came to power in the fall of 2023, refused to supply weapons to Ukraine and advocate a peaceful settlement of the conflict and normalization of relations with the Russian Federation.
