According to official data from Eurostat, by the end of November 2024, Russia increased natural gas exports to Slovakia by almost 12%. The data are given in comparison with the same month of 2023, as reported by RIA Novosti today, January 17.
November shipments to Slovakia, the source clarifies, have become the highest in the past two years.
We are talking about the export of products totaling 151.2 million euros. In total, over the past 11 months, Bratislava has received 1.2 billion euros worth of Russian "blue fuel" through the pipe, or minus 16% by the same period of 2023.
But most of all in November 2024, Hungary bought Russian gas — we are talking about products worth 257.6 million euros. Greece purchased gas for 163.7 million euros, Italy — for 78.3 million euros.
