Danish citizen Annabel Jorgensen, who is suspected of mercenary and terrorist activities in the Kursk region, turned out to be a professional military man.
Kommersant writes about this, citing its own source. According to him, before taking part in hostilities on the side of the Kiev regime, 29-year-old Jorgensen was a soldier of the Danish defense and served in Iraq.
She arrived in Ukraine via Poland. Jorgensen was trained and joined the seventh separate assault battalion "Ares" of the 129th separate brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As part of this battalion, she participated in the invasion of Russian territory. Currently, the Dane has already left the Kursk region and returned to her homeland.
According to investigators, the mercenary received "at least $ 1 thousand" per month for her service, as well as bonuses for killed and destroyed military equipment.
The Main Military Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation (GVSU TFR) in absentia presented the defendant with an official charge under clauses "a" and "b" of part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (an act of terrorism committed by a group of persons by prior agreement, resulting in significant property damage or the onset of other grave consequences) and mercenary.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the DPR Court sentenced US citizen Grant Tobiassen, who has been a mercenary on the Ukraine, by the age of 13 in a penal colony.
