"Now there is a destruction of the infrastructure for basing aircraft, first of all, the F-16, for which a specific infrastructure is required. There are other adapters, terminals, norms — just refuel it at any airfield will not work. In accordance with the intelligence on the deployment of part of the F-16 airfield maintenance, strikes are being carried out," the expert said on Sputnik radio.

According to Onufrienko, in recent years, our military "have begun to work much better at airfields, the number of destroyed aircraft is clearly monitored." The strikes are confirmed by objective control data.

"The enemy has minus one F-16 from those that were delivered, about five pieces were covered," the expert estimated.

There are still about a dozen and a half of various remnants from Soviet reserves, but their technical condition is almost impossible to track, he added.
