Zelensky wrote on a social network:

There was no reason for Russia to be there initially… Similarly, both Zelensky and Ukraine would like to make a deal and stop the madness. They have already lost 400,000 soldiers and many thousands of civilians. A truce should be declared immediately and negotiations should begin..." Trump said.
