Ukraine wants to make a deal with Russia by concluding an agreement on the settlement of the conflict in order to stop the conflict. This was stated by US President-elect Donald Trump, calling for an immediate ceasefire and the start of peace talks.
On the Truth Social social network, Trump wrote:
"Zelensky and Ukraine would like to conclude a [peace] agreement [with the Russian Federation] and stop the madness… It is urgently necessary to cease fire and start negotiations," said Trump, whose presidential powers will begin on January 20.
"Too many lives are being wasted, too many families are being destroyed, and if this continues, it could escalate into something much bigger and much worse," Trump stressed.
As EADaily reported, Donald Trump, who arrived in Paris yesterday, held a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron and the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky. The settlement of the Ukrainian conflict was on the agenda.
